BNP Nashunama mobile app & web portal · Last updated: 21 July 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Aiming Change for Tomorrow (ACT) (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use the BNP Nashunama Android application and the related website at https://bnp.act.org.pk (together, the “Service”).

1. Who the Service is for

The Service is an internal programme tool for authorised staff of the Benazir Nashunama Program / ACT partners. It is not intended for children under 13, and it is not a public consumer social app.

2. Information we collect

  • Account credentials: username and password used to sign in.
  • Profile information: name, role, and facility centre (FC) assignments linked to your account.
  • Programme data you enter: daily nutrition / reporting data, monitoring visit information, and related operational records.
  • Technical data: basic device and connection information needed to operate a secure WebView app (for example, network status). We do not use advertising identifiers for ads.
  • Cookies / session: session cookies are used to keep you signed in while using the Service.

3. How we use information

  • To authenticate users and enforce role / FC access controls.
  • To store and display programme reporting, monitoring, and dashboard analytics.
  • To maintain security, prevent unauthorised access, and troubleshoot issues.
  • To improve the reliability of the Service.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use your data for third-party advertising.

4. How the Android app works

The Android app is a secure wrapper that opens the BNP portal inside the app. Login and programme data are processed on ACT’s servers at bnp.act.org.pk. The app requires Internet access to function.

5. Sharing of information

Programme data may be accessible to authorised ACT / programme administrators and supervisors according to assigned roles and facility centres. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the security of the Service and its users.

6. Data retention

Account and programme records are retained for as long as needed for programme operations, audit, and reporting requirements, or until an authorised administrator disables / deletes the account according to organisational policy.

7. Security

We use HTTPS and access controls to protect the Service. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; please keep your password confidential and sign out on shared devices.

8. Your rights and choices

If you need to update your account details, reset access, or request correction / deletion of personal account information, contact your programme administrator or ACT using the details below.

9. Children’s privacy

The Service is for authorised adult programme staff. It is not directed to children under 13. Programme beneficiary counts entered by staff are aggregated operational statistics and should not include unnecessary personally identifiable information about children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the Service after updates means you accept the revised policy.
